We are opening bookings for the Olympic period

Tokyo and Japan has been waiting for this event for years. We have also been sitting on thorns, preparing for this once in a lifetime experience… The time has arrived. We have opened the bookings for the period of the Olympic Games.

How to book your room for the Olympic period?

Were you wondering if it is too late to book your accommodation for the summer? Is it becoming a nightmare to find the right Hotel? No worries. We have been keeping all our rooms until now. If you are reading this today, you are one of the lucky ones.

So how bookings for the Olympic period work?  The only way to book our rooms for the Olympic period is to use our booking system on the Official website of Tokyo Edo Sakura. Just open the website, choose your preferred length of stay/period of stay and hit the Check availabilities button. Once you are in, simply choose the room that you like the most and finish your booking. It is that simple.

Target period: 11th of July – 6th of September

Minimum length of stay: 2 nights

Which KIT Ryokan Hotels offer rooms during the Olympic Games?

We only have one Ryokan Hotel in Tokyo, the Tokyo Edo Sakura. The Hotel is located in Taito ward which is famous for the Senso-ji temple in Asakusa as well as the popular Ueno park. The Ryokan Hotel is a 4-minute walk away from Iriya station — Exit 4 (Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line) and a 10-minute walk away from Uguisudani station — South exit (JR Line).

However, you can also stay in one of our Ryokan Hotels in Kyoto (Kyomachiya Ryokan Sakura Urushitei and Kyomachiya Ryokan Sakura Hongan-G)  during the summer if you prefer staying away from the crowd of the games.
